I was pretty amused when I heard Singapore being mentioned in this clip. For those who aren’t very familiar with some of the old news, the incident mentioned in the music video was the (in)famous Michael Fay incident where he was caned for vandalism. Created quite an uproar if I remember clearly. I was still pretty young then.

Funny how people choose to represent how we are like by our fines, caning system, chewing gum ban, on top of other (probably better) things. Notice that the scene seems to suggest some kind of inhuman kind of treatment? hmm.
